What is the difference between a converted van and a van?

Ready to hit the road with family or friends? All that’s left is to choose your travel companion. At Evasia, the camper van rental specialist, you can pick between a camper van or a converted van (or camper van), your perfect recreational vehicle for the journey.

Rental of a converted van

The camper van is under 6 meters long and about 2.60 meters high (1). Easier to handle than a traditional motorhome, it still offers all the same comforts. We offer a 3-berth camper van, perfect for a couple with one child. We also have a 4-berth version, featuring a space where four people can sit comfortably, a kitchenette with a gas stove and sink, a fridge with a freezer compartment, and a bathroom with a toilet and shower. Renting a converted van

We've chosen to build our rental van fleet around an iconic model: the Westfalia Kepler 5 by Volkswagen. Both a recreational vehicle and an everyday car, this van can accommodate up to 4 people for weekend getaways or road trip adventures. Other models, such as the Panama and Bürstner Copa, are also available.

Shorter and lower than a camper van, staying under 2 meters in height, it can slip into parking spaces just like a regular car. We offer a 4-seater converted van that's easy to handle and powerful. While it’s slightly more basic in terms of comfort, as it doesn’t include a toilet or shower, it still offers a great travel experience. Feel free to check out our rental prices for converted vans!
